It's no secret that our venerable church building is in need of some tender, loving care. The structural distress in the southeast corner is easy to see and has been for some years. The good news is that there are options to address the issue, repair the building, and keep it a beautiful space for ministry and worship for future generations.
On Sunday, 30 January 2022, we will have an opportunity for sharing and discussion following the morning worship. Parish leadership will share a summary of the analysis of the church building completed by KGS Group in 2021 followed by an opportunity for questions, comments, and discussion.
On Sunday, 13 February 2022, we will have another conversation, this time with representatives from Colliers Project Leaders. These good people have been working with the parish to think creatively about the need to care for our historic building, the future of our ministry, and how our property might be used to help us accomplish all of those goals.
On Sunday, 27 February 2022, we will have the Annual General Meeting of the parish. In addition to the usual business of electing parish officers, reviewing finances, and so on, we will make the first in a series of decisions about how to proceed regarding the repair of our church building and future uses of our property.
Given the current pandemic restrictions, these discussions will have to take place via Zoom. You can find details about each of these meetings - including the Zoom links and informational documents - in the Events page of the parish website.
If you have questions about this series of meetings, please contact the churchwardens or Rev. Andrew.
